The aim of the modern education is to bring out the inherent feelings of the child’s mind and support him to get spiritual inspiration and to become a noble person in the society. In this regard the Poornaprajna Educational Institutions run by His Holiness Shri EeshaPriya Theertha Swamiji of Admar Mutt are the icon of his never ending struggle and national feelings.
Chikmagalur is in the heart of the Western ghats in the Southern Indian state of Karnataka. Here the towering mountain ridges wrap around a gently undulating landscape dissected by scores of streams and draped in the finest moist deciduous forests every where. This beautiful spot in Malnad has, it’s own unique place in the religious cultural and social fields in karnataka state itself. The credit of providing us two popular religious mutts namely Shri Sharada Adwaita Mutt established by Sri Shankaracharya and Veera Simhasana Shakti Vishishtadwaita mutt established by Sri Renukacharya belongs to Chikmagalur. Chikmagalur is the home of coffee, orange, cardamom, pepper and paddy. In the midst of this beautiful nature lies our ‘ALDUR’.
The children of this area had no opportunity to get education through English medium. Late Sri H D Byregowda ,son of late Late Thimmanna gowda , Havalli and his family donated 1.30 acres of land for the construction of school. Hence His Holiness Sri Sri Vibudesha Thirtha Swamiji of admar Mutt, Udupi, established this institution in the year 1978 to impart quality education to rural children.
